Default Wiring question

I have a 2017 ezgo txt with lithium batteries. I want to install a sound bar and light bar.

I went out and bought a 48v to 12v reducer and a 6 way fuse box.

What is the best way to hook everything up?

Do I go from the lithium batteries to voltage reducer to fuse box and then hook the light bar and sound bar to the fuse box?

Or how do I hook this up so that the light bar and sound bar only get power when the ignition is in the on position?

Some reducers have a 5th Eire, which is the trigger wire. That could be supplied from the key switch. If you don’t have a 5th wore, imho you need to use a relay. There are numerous threads on doing this. If you could search reducer and posts by Sergio, he has provided diagrams.

Thumbs up Re: Wiring question

Not sure on a 2017 model cart but on the older carts you should be able to tie into the key switch for the 48 volts and ground it. Then run the 12 volt's. When you turn the cart on/Off the reducer will turn on and off.
New models may not carry full voltage on the key switch.
I'm not rich enough to have a 2017 cart yet!

Thanks. I cant seem to find that post you reference from Sergio. Where would the relay go in the wiring path?

I bought this reducer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
