Re: Header for a FE290.
I guess you could but whats the point? It's a single cylinder engine.... 1 pipe to a muffler ...... research has shown that breather and exhaust mods have minimal performance effect on the little golf cart engines. So For $, why ? Just my $.02

Re: Header for a FE290.
Jethro and I are in Calallen, we can cart around nearly all the roads over there(on our side of 624) with a "slow moving vehicle" placard on the rear of the carts. We're right next to golf course so carts are used a lot in our neighborhoods. Getting together would be a pretty good idea, I work a screwed up schedule 12's now(the weekends)! I'm pretty sure the OP won't get pissed about jacking his thread here. If he's thinking of building a header/exhaust I have the tools and benders to do it, if it's worth his time to do something different.

Re: Header for a FE290.
My 90 has a slow moving placard and it was street legal with plates before the state said no more registering of carts. It just expired in march. So you are in the woodriver/river hills area? Thats where that golf course is or close to it, right? That golf course was or is selling off its 03 gas ezgo carts for $1500. I went and looked at them.
