Default 88 club car trouble starting compression??

okay ive got a few questions and issues with my club car i have a 1988 club car which motor would it have?? its a flathead motor. and it will start just takes like 10 minutes of cranking. ive cleaned the carb changed oil and fuel filters clean gas,has spark, but one thing ive noticed is i think it has a blown head gasket!!! how can u tell?? lol but im assuming with little bubbles come out of the gasket when it cranking or running means its shot?? lol and once its started it hesitates alot and if it sits for a few it takes forever to startagain

thanks!!!

Auto parts stores usually will rent it to you for free, just have to leave a deposit but you will get it back when you return it
