Winter Tip...
Just noticed this and thought I would pass it along. We got dumped on with snow the last couple days and I ended up leaving my cart outside because I did not expect this much snow. Sunday the ground was bare, well, today I went out to the cart to clean off the 24"+ that we got since Sunday night. I was quite surprised to find the roof sagging quite a bit (maybe 3 inches), so, I carefully cleaned it off before doing anything else. I would expect it to ruin something if left in the snow continue to build up for the rest of the winter. I did not think it was that weak. Next time, I will be sure to get it inside before any snow starts to build up on the thing. So, today's lesson is "Don't leave the cart out in the weather if you could ever expect more then 2' of snow to end up on your roof."

Re: Winter Tip...
Wow, thats pretty BURIED!
I've run into more than just a sagging roof when leaving things outside in the winter. Freezing batteries, fuel problems, snow getting places it shouldn't, etc. Good luck digging that out! I have to agree Chevy. Drifting my Avalanche the last couple weeks is a blast. But I'm already tired of all the shoveling, plowing & chipping...... and it's not even winter yet!! |

Not to mention the springs are probably flattened, unless it has the heavy duty ones.

Re: Winter Tip...
That's powder snow, or the roof would collapse. Light and fluffy overall. If it was Chicago Slop, that cart would be a pancake!

Re: Winter Tip...
Around here it's always seems light and fluffy at first but after a day or two depending on temp and humidity becomes laiden with moisture and gets really heavy collapsing roofs and awnings, it's a constant battle here in the Ohio snow belt.
