light kit install problem
Well this is a first for me. I have a n 06 precedent w/350 motor. Purchased a Madjax head and taillight kit. Supposed to be plug and go. The plugging went very well, with all the harnesses. However lights won,t work. If I use a test light grounded to the battery I have juice all the way to the bulbs. when test light is removed there is no juice anywhere. it appears to me to be a ground problem, but i am not very knowledgeable on wiring and such. any Ideas on where to start now?

Re: light kit install problem
thank you for the reply. the ground is in the harness supplied with the kit. it all plugs into the factory harness.
sorry i am not computer savy enough to download the instructions. i did get a copy of them form madjax.com. since the ground is in the harness i assume it is grounded like everything else on the cart. you know what they say about assumptions. thanks again for the reply. |

Re: light kit install problem
Go to the site/page where U got the instructions.
then copy and past the URL here It sounds like the ground needs to be connected back to -Neg battery some way. Perhaps the factory harness has a broken wire ? |
