Re: light kit install problem
is it a circuit breaker or fuse ?
is it blown , needs reset ? so if U test on either side of this fuse do U have 12 Volts on both sides ? |

Re: light kit install problem
it is a breaker. it plugs into the harness by the battery. took breaker off and put a jumper wire direct, just to see if the lights would work, they did not. there is no juice to either of the wires at the breaker. if i ground the test light to the battery neg. the test light glows, but still no headlights.

Re: light kit install problem
yeah I know.
But is it a test light for continuity or voltage. Thats why I ask U to touch the two leads together on the test light and see if U get a light |

Re: light kit install problem
OK so as Old Mech recommends go to Lowe's , harbor Freight and get a DIGITAL
read out meter . $10-$15 does not have to be the best just so we can run the voltage problem down ? Email or call http://www.mymadjax.com/ and see if they have a troubleshooting proc. for this. If not we'll figure it out Have a good WE . PS the first place to check for the 12 Volts is at the CC plug. If U don't have it there it can't get to the lights . |
