Electric EZGO RXV 2009 stops suddenly

I have contacted an EZGO dealer in town and he wants to do a battery load test. Not sure that is going to tell him anything with the symptoms I have.

I have asked him repeatedly if he has the diagnostic equipment hook onto the car to check the last key switch history. He continues to avoid my question. Maybe he doesn't understand the question or maybe he doesn't have one.

Is there a name for the diagnostic tool to read last switch positions? Maybe if I asked specifically using the name of the tool he might answer me. A little suspicious of his abilities at this point.

Danaher handheld programmer. If there were a keyswitch failure, it would come up as a "direction error" indicating that more than one direction were selected at one time by the keyswitch. Example F and R inputs both on at the same time.
