Default what is harder on a cart?

what is harder on a cart going 1 hour at full speed or going 1 hour at 2miles an hour?
for some reason I think the slower speed may be harder on it?

Default Re: what is harder on a cart?

Slow speed operation keeps the cart in a high amp draw mode. The motor is working harder than going fast and consuming more amperage. Some of this amperage is converted into heat so the motor tends to get hot which is hard on it... the same is true for the rest of the system. High amperage will be running through the solenoid and control... and the F&R in a series drive cart.
