I have the SPM series controller so I SHOULD be OK then I suppose. I have begun the hunt for old field coils. We have a giant cart shop a few miles from my house and I gave them a call. They are supposed to be checking to see if any scrap motors are available. Now if they are really checking is another story. If I don't hear anything I will drop by later this week.
I ran my idea by a few of the cart stores I talked to but they had no clue about any of the theory. There answer was to buy a new motor if I wanted more power. Figures...

Rewinding the motor is getting pretty deep. I understand the theory, but actually doing it, not this kid. But please take lots of pics. Some good before and after tests would be neat too.
