Time for new motor
I have been fishing around for information on new motor and sort of anticipating that I might need or want to replace mine. I decided to have a golf cart tech take a look at my cart...someone that knows what he is doing.
What I have: EZGO TXT DCS cart, XCT 400 controller, 2 gauge cables, flip rear seat...running on flat concrete roads...no hills. Desired 23-24 mph I am really thinking a motor from EMP. Really like their attention to detail they gave me. Other option is an Admiral motor. Alltrax actually recommended that to me... Said it would go well with controller. Can anyone give me feedback on EMP as a company and the other option being an Admiral motor? Going to decide in next 2 to 3 days after getting as much info as I can.
