What !? That is not the reversing contactor it is a rotary F&R.

Wire it as per the cart's original diagram. Each F&R is bench tested for continuity in F and R before it is shipped. If it has lost contact then you can turn the 9/16th center pivot shaft nut clockwise half a turn to increase tension. Thank you for the picture.

Yes that what it was before I went to install the Reversing Contactor.

Since I have to send the reversing contactor back, I need to reinstall it. When I got it it was switching M-, your diagram for the reversing contactor has it switching B+. I changed the cables to match your diagram sent with the reversing contactor, switching B+.

Now that I'm going to reinstall the rotary F/R switch do I need to change back to switch M- for any reason?

The best advice I can give is if you are reinstalling the original F&R then install it per the original diagram.

No. The part was good but I decided to replace anyway. The old one was dirty

That was not a knock at you by the way. I have been following this one and sincerely interested in the outcome.

Scotty, you might have issues mixed up. Your PM said you repaired it but the reverse side was weak so you replaced it. The problem I had was reverse solenoid had continuity across the top post with no wires attached. Going on business trip early tomorrow won't be until Thursday that I can get it installed. Will let you know then

You are confused. I repaired the unit. And it worked but, the coil was compromised. (weakened) so I replaced it.
