The weight reduction is nice. Mine was minus 250 lb with the 14 modules. It rides great with two people in it but it's like an empty pickup truck with just me in it. The springs are designed for the heavy battery load. I have my charger external - looks like a different unit from yours. I also got my stuff from Hybrid Auto but back in December.

Here is a pic of the charger I got from Nick when I installed mine Oct '15. This one is Chinese as well. I had fuse blowing problems early on with mine and also with the new one installed in this post. The solder actually melts and opens the circuit. Chiinese spare built in fuse did the same thing. I found those oddball size fuses 'made in America' and have had no problems since. Also a pic of one of the fuses. The wire part of the fuse is still in tact, solder melted.

JohnnyB - When we are out with a test again with this cart, I will save those files and send to you. I will make a monitor run prior to making any changes and will get a screen shot of the throttle settings as well and post them.

VA - I have noticed that my cart rides better without the weight of the LA batts, but it is a little stiff but handles so very well. Now, Jon's TXT here in this post was a terrible ride with original 205/50-10" old rock hard golf course tires. The new tires 205/65-10 we put on it made all the difference.

My first charger started blowing fuses after a couple months use. I sent it back and Nick sent me a new one and it had larger (20A) fuse. I have not used it much since the swap since I am in Colorado for the summer and my cart is sitting in Arizona. The charger is not very good IMO but it works so far. I am going to try to mod my original Yamaha charger to do Lithium when I get back to Arizona.

For JohnnieB,
Attached are data files from a run in the cart. One is Excel .xlxs and the other is a .csv from that file. Both are in one zip file.
Attached Files
File Type: zip JB New 14C Pack 1st.zip (46.1 KB, 0 views)

That explains the anomalies in the column names.
The three minute-three second excerpt is interesting.
Thanks for the info.

With the DCX controller a precharge resistor is required across the main solonoid contacts. On the XCT Alltrax shows a diode instead of resistor. Anyone know why?
