Default Going from 36 to 48V - Controller changes?

Hey folks, I'm taking my old EZGO TXT from 36V to 48V. A couple years ago, I got a controller upgrade package from Scottyb. I got the Alltrax SPM 48500 with the HD solenoid, HD F/R switch, and 2 gauge cables. I've just ordered the 48V charger from him. I have the old 6V batteries pulled and the new 8V batteries sitting in place ready to go.

I want to make sure I don't mess anything up before hooking it all up. Are there any changes that need to be made to my controller before connecting everything?

Thanks for any input.

No changes to the controller or wiring. Replace the 250 Ω precharge resistor with a 470 Ω resistor and that's it - enjoy the boost
