Can I Run 100ah batteries??
I have a 2013 BBB Ambush that currently has 150ah batteries in it. I need to replace them, and not knowing much about battery technology, would 100ah batteries work? I realize they most likely would not hold a charge for as long, but I'm okay with that as long as there is not a "technical" reason they wouldn't work with the 48v motor in the Ambush...

Re: Can I Run 100ah batteries??
They will operate the motor and power should not be reduced as along as the charge is good but - The charge will last up to 50% less than original and the batteries will have a reduced life if you continually draw them down deeply due to their small capacity.
Batteries are expensive but they are the life blood of the system. |

Re: Can I Run 100ah batteries??
Thanks for the input... I mainly run on the gas motor, only occasionally using the electric (because the front wheel drive is always spinning out) when I need to be quiet, but I wasn't sure it would work with them. I guess I'll have to think on it a little more.

Front ends spinning were always an issue with those machines. That or the bobby box..
I had a client add wheel weights to the front, older tractor weights, another added WWF to the wheels and that stopped the spinning they said. |

Hmm, that's basically a Rxv system but in front. The T1260 batteries were marginal in the first place. I wouldn't do it.
