There are several variations on that voltage, and can be decoded by meter part number, but that's a common one.

thank yall, the batteries are from Batteries plus, Energizer brand.

guess I will hook charger back up

before I retired I worked for the power company for 38 years, 14,000 volts no problem 36 volts a problem

You should see voltages around 7.5 on each battery right as the charger shuts off. they should drop over the next 12 to 24 hrs. One thing you may want to think about is adding a digital volt meter in addition or in place of the bar graph. You can tell what the batteries are doing under a load and you'll know what soc % you have. I try to keep mine above 70% soc.

yep 14,400 was 7,00 when I started but converted over a couple of years later.

the info on the Curtis meter was helpful.. meter has stopped flickering. I left charger running all night, but it never showed a full. max it reached was 42.84 volts

Check your pack voltage after 12 hours or so. If its below the 38.2 mark, sometimes consecutive charges will bring it up some. make sure water levels are covering fins by about a 1/4 in. Use distilled water if adding. Charge after every use for best battery performance. welcome to BGW
