battery problems
it is possible to save a rundown battery? I charged my EZGO for three days and was only able to drive it 4 blocks till it died.

Re: battery problems
Post year, model, voltage and drive system, (in case you’ve got other issues) along with what type of charger you have. Charge your batteries until the charger shuts off, wait at least 12 hrs, then measure the voltage of the pack, and each individual battery, to the second decimal.
How old are your batteries? Have they been properly maintained? If your question about saving a rundown battery is referring to the products you find online, the overwhelming consensus of the guys in the know here, is that none of those things work. I do read these guys talking about getting one undercharged battery back up a bit by charging it individually, but if a battery has sulfated, it sounds like it’s pretty much toast. You could possibly have some other things going on, but with most no-go issues, these guys will want to know the particulars of your cart, along with details of the battery voltage. |
