Hi mgray70, right now the batteries are probably pretty much dead. I have not charged them except once after it quit working. I was wondering that since the solenoid seems to be getting power, could it be the microswitch inside the V-glide box? Is there a way to test the switch without taking the batteries out to get to it?

You need to charge the batteries, and get a voltage reading 12 hours or so after the charger cuts off. If the solenoid clicks when you press the pedal that would indicate that micro switch is ok. Is this a controller cart or resistor cart?

You will probably have to remove one or two of the batteries to get to the microswitch inside the v-glide.

Hi again, this cart is with resistors, no OBC either, currently can't charge the batteries. Had to remove them to get at the v-glide, micro switch clicks as it opens & closes as it should. I did notice the control arm rest on the first & second pad but otherwise unremarkable. I will have to find out how to adjust that. I am going to go ahead and replace the solenoid and take the F&R apart to make sure it is making good contact. I have traced every single wire & used my tester to make sure there are no breaks that I haven't visually seen. Can't get any parts till Monday anyway, so I'll just keep checking & cleaning as I go. I am at a total loss as to what could have happen. Btw the batteries are less than a year old and have been "broken in" and maintained as recommended by Trojan. Thanks for any suggestions anyone has and if I ever figure out the problem I will post it here.
