DS power drive slow jerky and throttle hesitates
Hope somebody can help me I'm not real fluent with electric carts I have an 01 DS club car with power drive I have replaced a lot of things nothing has seemed to fix it I upgraded the MCOR to 4, batteries are 51volts and each battery shows 8.4, all new battery cables new Stainless hardware on all connections charger will kick on off then back on and we'll do a complete charge of the batteries and kick itself off after they're full the problem is when I go to drive it it doesn't go very fast and it cuts in and out any ideas would be greatly appreciated It is very frustrating. Thanks for any help

That sounds like motor brushes are failing....

Checked all connection everything is tight with new ss hardware, I had the motor out and had a wire put back on the stud.

Re: DS power drive slow jerky and throttle hesitates
could a faulty MCOR switch cause these symptoms? sorry for asking so many questions just want to have a real good idea before pulling the rear end again, it wasn't jerky until the MCOR was replaced, but it was having a speed issue.
thanks for the ideas this site ROCKS |

Re: DS power drive slow jerky and throttle hesitates
Absolutely it could. The MCOR regulates the signal and if you got a bad one (Chinese) version, they are junk. If it started when you replaced it, 99% chance that is it. And I am assuming you have a "Series" cart....?
