Even if other problems exist, do check the motor brushes!

pulled the motor, brushes don't look bad, no dark or blk spot as if sparking or anything on the armature that I would call irregular.
I checked all connections again, cleaned up the armature where the brushes run, put back together and same result.
could a motor controller give this jerky intermediate result? this cart is in great condition if it would only run

Did you do what I asked in post #9? ("it wasn't jerky until the MCOR was replaced")

No I have not reached out to David as of yet, I wanted to check the brushes on the motor and see what they looked like, which turned out to look ok.
I found two wires crossed on the motor from the first reassembly the S1 and A1 after checking a diagram the cart is acting better but still not enough power to operate right. Acceleration peddle has to be push most of the way doown to have anything happen, and then if at all. Still lost. I did install a MCOR junky Chinese switch this might be my issue just not sure.

Based on everything you checked and the timing of it, I really think that is your problem.

If not, call him tomorrow after 9 a.m. It will be best to "speak" with him about your dilemma so he can walk you through some checks.
