Double Fuse?
Hi All,
Installing a small 11" light bar on my 86 DS. It came with a wiring harness with a switch, relay, and inline fuse. The cart has a Scottyb reducer and fuse box already installed. My question is, is there any harm or benefit in wiring it with two fuses (the inline and the fusebox)? Should I just cut off the inline before I wire it to the fuse box? Any help is appreciated.  -Cbow |

It won’t hurt to have 2 but it might be a pain if one blows. I’d probably ditch the inline one if you have a fusebox.

I would leave them both in . Compare it to your house which has a main breaker and it also has breakers for the branch circuits.

Thanks for the responses guys. If there's no harm in it, then I'll probably leave it on there for some extra protection.
