upgraded 96 or 06 precedent?

my wife just found another golf cart that she likes. a 2006 precedent. i just got done upgrading our 96ds. its not the fastest cart, but it is up there with a complete new drivetrain system. my question is, would it be worth it to upgrade to the precedent model? does it matter if its exel or iq? and how can i tell the difference. i have only seen pics and it looks pretty clean, i wont get to see it til tomorrow and they are asking 3800 . it is 4 seater, rims and tires are upgraded and large roof and stereo. i think the drive train is still stock. any input would be greatly appreciated
