Default Dpi setting for Crown?

I have done a search and came up inconclusive. Does anybody know the setting for a DPI charger with the jumper pins for Crown [CR-190] batts? Found a setting for everything but!

With the Gen 4 they call for Mode 4 which is 57.6 volts. Mode 3 on the Gen 3 charger is also 57.6v.

Dundee,

The recommended mode for Crown can be seen on Page 5 of the Gen 3 manual:

http://www.dpipower.com/store/MNUL/General_Chargers.pdf

I also have recent confirmation from DPI that Mode 4 is their recommendation and this applies to both CR-165 and CR-190 batteries. I have been using Mode 4 on my CR-165 batteries for 9 months now. I can can confirm no excessive gassing, my electrolyte levels remain at their factory fill levels ~ 3/4" above the plates, and I have experienced no significant temperature elevation using Mode 4.
