Yes I installed the speed spring and tightened the 10 mm nut all the way. I have done some research already and the reason I made a post to begin with is because the modifications that I have read about from other posts havent seemed to affect my cart. Thanks

Yea...something doesn't sound right. I did some R&D testing for CPP on that spring you speak of and they thing would fly. All stock with no other mods. Are you sure it's actually going wide open, the carb that is? Might disconnet the batt and see if she's going wide open. Might need to adjust the throttle.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I'm going to do the tests you mentioned and let you know what happens.

i run 22" tires on mine with a stock motor air cleaner and carb and mine will go 30 down the street, but i like to go trail riding so i gave up some speed for torque up the hills with a stronger secondary spring and it still go's 26. it dosent burn up the hills but it dosent die either. we went trail riding at Majestic trails today in PA and had a blast in the mud and rain. we maid it up all the trails and flew down them, it was a blast. i would say you may have a problem with somthing else and once you find out what the problem is, it should come to life for you.

Yes, this is what i was thinking exactly...my only problem is I am unsure where to start troubleshooting as I am fairly new to working on the cart. Got any ideas?

A good place to start would be to make sure your driven and drive clutches are shifting in & out fully when you apply full throttle with the shifter in neutral position. (Belt should be near the top of the drive clutch at full throttle). This check could be done before you look to make sure throttle is opening fully. Sort things out one at a time so you don't miss something. I think the bigger tires will probably give you a good gain. You'll get there!! Good luck -Ray

Ok guys I was away for a few days but i have recently installed the allsports lift with 10" wheels, 22" tires snd the performace exhaust. Today I did the checks that some of you suggested. In neutral, both the clutches are working properly and to their fullest potential. I checkedthe spark plug after a drive and i noticed there is a significant amount of carbon already on it and its pretty black (the plug is still very new). The electrode looks good but the arm that covers the electrode is white/tan. I am still trying to sort things out and I am hoping others will be willing to help. Thanks
