Hey folk here's a small update on my build, nevertheless, excited i got this completed today. Got the roof off, scuffed it with a scotchpad, blew it off and sprayed the dupi-color bedliner coating. Man this stuff rocks! Also removed all aluminum framing and shot it with a Krylon satin black, it looks amazing!

I am looking for new bushings for the shocks and also the leaf shackles. Anyone know where i could find them, mine are pretty dry rotted. I plan on ordering the All Sports 6" lift soon , so kinda wanna get that prepped. Any info would be great. Thanks

UPDATE! Sorry guys on the delayed update. I've been on short grass but now Im good. Here are a few install pics. (500amp controller, Scottyb's Poteniometer/Bellcrank & 400/1000 HD solenoid.)

Next on the list:
Fab a battery tray for the 12v Acc. bat. ( will install it just fwd of the motor on aluminum crossmember).
Install Blue Systems Blade Fuse Block (West Marine or Ebay) Model # 3733482
Install HD Leaf Springs (Golf Cart Kings)
All Sports Super Sport 6" kit
Carbon fiber Dash

And of course wiring up the whole sha-bang! Oh does anyone have a diagram of a 89' CC DS Motor and the Post names. (4 posts) There is not one stamp or etching anywhere.

Thanks

Looking good!

On the aluminum endcap of the motor, the stampings are beside (left of) the posts if it's a factory motor. They fill with gunk over the years and can be SUPER hard to see, a little wire brushing the area of beside the posts usually makes them visible.

Looking good. A couple of things to think about.

When I changed my controller, I barely had room between the body and the heads of the carriage bolts that secured the controller. Your bolts might be too high.

My cart (like yours) didn't have an access panel. Now might be a good time to cut one in (it sure helps the troubleshooting later).

Keep up the good work.

Thanks Tag. Yes, since the pic i have cut the bolts down as far as they can go. I threw the body on today to see if they hit, i got about a 1/8 inch clearance. not much at all. Id loved to cut a access hatch in this jewel but im not sure if i'm up to that task. Paint and body was never my strongest talent. I plan on doing new paint possibly in the summer so ill have a them cut her out. but absolutely a great idea.

Thanks
