Re: Club Car DS series 99 pedal range problem !
Interesting observation purple wire removed did the trick!
Before removal: B- to #3Yel in connection 0v pedal up 5v pedal 80% motor starts 10v pedal 100% motor full power Now with purple off 5v when pedal down 10% enough to.click solenoid 10v Motor now full range to the floor Had to jumper green to white near FR switch at microswitch to get reverse and no 1/2 speed reverse as mentioned but I will live with it ! Thanks for the help !!!! |

Re: Club Car DS series 99 pedal range problem !
It gets confusing because folks refer to some of the Club Car throttles as 5kΩ-0 when that is just how you test them, not how the 3-wire throttle works.
Since you have a Controller configured for a 2-wire (rheostat mode) throttle, the voltage readings will not have a direct meaning, you are just looking for resistance at this point. If the controller does not have a separate terminal for "1/2 speed", it will be tricky to get a 5kΩ-2.5kΩ signal for 1/2 speed as you need 2 separate switches, one to add a 5kΩ resistor in parallel with the throttle and one to add a 2.5kΩ resistor in series with it. |

Re: Club Car DS series 99 pedal range problem !
I'm sure glad you said/explained that as my IQ is 5K-0 ohm and my Series is 0-5k ohm but your explanation clears it up....
