Default Amp draw

Morning - I have an 2006 Club Car Precedent, 48V...how much is too much of an amp draw for a set of lights.... I got a pair of KC LED lights for the front of my cart but unsure if I use them it will draw down the batteries too much. The specs say they pull 2.0 amps per light.... I have two lights. With everything else running on the cart how much would the extra draw effect the cart. Is there a calculation??

Thanks

If you use a 48-12 volt reducer the draw on your pack will be less than 2 amps.

Power, expressed in Watts is Voltage x Amperage so a light pulling 2 amps at 12V is using 24 Watts. For the pack to supply that 24 Watts from 48V it would need to provide 0.5 Amp

Light her up all you want! As long as you don't draw more than the reducer is rated for, the reduction in "mileage" will only be measurable with a tape measure as it is negligible compared to the motor.
