on my cart , the red from the "speed switch", which from this point forward shall be known as the "VGlide" goes to the charge receptacle , the NEG side of it ….the red from the key switch is what is on my F/R switch....

and I would still pull the batteries and take the cover off the VGlide and look at the wiper arm and make sure all the pads look good AND make sure it goes all the way up at full throttle AND all the way down at rest (VERY IMPORTANT)…….cleaning it up and adjusting the pad so it rides flat can make the go pedal feel a lot better....

where does the red from your key switch go if not there ?

I have been asking about the key switch from 40+ posts ago. I don't know if it is still in the circuit and malfunctioning, or if one of those toggle switches is being used as a key switch. At this point, I'm not sure where the positive and negative going to the small posts of the solenoid is coming from, or if it is, or if the solenoid is just stuck.

And like you, I think he has issues in the V-glide.

I noticed the Red wire I have going from the speed switch to the f/r switch is not in the diagram...
That is why I posted the "negative key switch" wiring diagram, which was the first version of the VGlide after the micro-switches speed box model.

The later model with "positive key switch" you guys keep talking about does not have that connection.

I posted both diagrams for reference.
