Default Rear end identification

So..... when I built my son’s Jeep, I started with a rear end and a set of front spindles that I found at the local scrap yard.... what I want to do is find a matching rear and turn it into a steer axle (yeah that’s the kind of fab that I do...) then I can make the Jeep on demand electric 4x4. Problem is I don’t know how to identify what year it is and what other years it will match. I took a picture of the tag on the motor. It’s very hard to see hit it looks like the code says MYN? Maybe MYM? If someone can tell what I should look for by the numbers or tell me what I need to check to identify it that would be much appreciated.

Are you trying to identify the motor or the axle?
Can’t really say for sure but that’s probably a Kawasaki axle. You would need to remove the motor and count the splines on the input shaft to properly identify the year range. Early 80s axles had 18? Spline input shafts IIRC.
Late 80s to current have ten splines.

The motor is a 36v series wind GE I believe.

I know the motor is a stock 36v. I’ll remove the motor and count the splines. Thanks for the input.

Like I said, pretty sure that's a Kawasaki axle. On the Kawasaki axles all of the bolts that hold the center housing together go in from the left side.
The main thing you want to make sure of is it's a ten spline input shaft. The older higher spline axles were not as strong, and it's almost impossible to find a motor to fit if you need to replace it.
All of the newer motors for Club Car axles are ten spline.
