Default 36v system with 1 8v battery?

I’m helping my dad do some maintenance on his cart and I noticed that the batteries he bought 2 years ago include an 8v battery. He had it installed at a local shop so they definitely dropped the ball but at this point I doubt they will be of much help.

Is this battery going to cause issues with the cart?

Thanks

So out of what is supposed to be six 6 volt batteries one is an 8 volt battery? Its not likely to cause any real operational issue with the cart itself, but it is certainly going to cause some charging issues to the 5 remaining 6 volt batteries...

Yes it has 5 6 volt and 1 8 volt. Seems to be working ok but I’m wondering if it is going to cause long term problems to the cart. I’ll call the golf cart shop that installed the batteries but who knows what they will say

They need to tell the dude in the back to cut back on them left handed cigarettes...seems like that is a pretty dumb mistake. I think I would find me another shop to use.
