Default Datel Voltage Meter

Has anyone had experience with these meters? Any Reason they wouldn't work?

As long as you get one with the correct voltage range it should work fine.
How much are these meters?

They are $50, are water resistant and have a faceplate for about $4. My issue is with a 48v cart, what meter to use. They have one that goes up to 50v but wouldn't I really need one that goes above that? They also have one that goes up to about a 100v, but with that one I am afraid it wouldn't be sensitive enough. Any ideas?

The DMS-20PC-8-DCM has a range of 30.0 to 199.9, so that would be the one I would look at.
It still show tenths of a volt and has plenty of range to cover your cart.

Thanks much, after I posted I went back to the site and read the specs. I figured that one would work, but was still not comfortable.

Forget about the problems... everything got resolved...

I still have that last one I purchased for under $20 and works fine. You can buy three for the price you're talking about when you consider faceplate and shipping and still be ahead. I would go with the one I purchased... 0-199v DC under $20 shipped and make sure you silicon the faceplate backing to prevent moisture from getting behind the dash!
