Where is the build date info?
I was given an EZGO gas 4 stroke 11hp with dump utility bed. Was told it did not run (hopefully easy fix).
1) I see the weight tag in the compartment in the glove box but no date of manufacture. Where would I find it? 2) If I need a new engine what are my options? Maybe a 750 Honda motorcycle engine LOL. And cost? Thanks, Bryan |

Re: Where is the build date info?
Ok, we can skip location of Manufacture. I found it in a previous thread searching.
But how about repower if needs it? Thanks again, Bryan |

Re: Where is the build date info?
Thanks for the welcoming. I will check out the Big Block section. I am hoping that it is something basic like fuel filter, carb rebuild. The manager of the golf course said they had rebuilt the engine a couple years ago. One of the employee kids were driving and it just stopped running. He said he just did not want to put any more money in it. Engine is not locked up. But I will not complain since it was FREE!
Here is a picture. It has been sitting outside and not cleaned up yet. I will check to see what year it is as I do not know yet. Thanks, Bryan |

Re: Where is the build date info?
Hey Bryan, Welcome!
That's a great find for free Those motors are pretty strong and require very little to keep running other than regular maintinance. What year is it? I've got a 97 workhorse that I've put a Honda 20 in and lifted a little. They is a whole bunch of space in those engine compartments to do all sorts of cool things |

Re: Where is the build date info?
Ok guys I think I have it figured out. It is a 1999 Jacobsen 1110 Hauler. Which I guess is the workhorse or same as? Is EZ GO made by Jacobsen? Oh and I did pressure wash everything off last night and removed the canopy. Charging a spare battery last night. I downloaded manuals here so I can start diagnostics a little easier. Great information on the site.
