g1 yamaha
I have a g1 yamaha and last year it died on me to where i had to charge it every time to start it. WEll this year i bought new brushes for the starter/gen and put it in today and it just clicks the starter/gen doesnt spin the battery is charged and it still wont spin idk y can anyone help i checked alll the wires to and the ground and still nothing

Try to turn the starter by hand and see if it is stuck.

those are pretty simple...its either key switch, solinoid, starter/gen,fuse or wireing
Take your pick on where to start but i would say its either a wire or fuse since it worked before |

i ckecked the fuses and wires there good and what do u mean by the key switch

the key is a switch on these carts...if its not working then it wont send the signal saying to want to go forward or backward

There is a fuse behind/beside the solenoids. Check if there is connection, i.e. fuse intact/not blown. If you have a multitester, check for continuity.
If you turn the switch counterclockwise, do you hear the back-up horn beeping? If no, then you could have a blown fuse at the location I mentioned in the paragraph above. |

I would test the voltage out of the solenoid see if the gen is getting 12v, then test ground.

last year it seem to start up fine for a while then i rode it on a trail and a stick came up under nethand there atre three wires conected to a big white wire that goes to the battery those came unplugged and i might have mixed the order could this be the reason
