Re: 1996 ezgo pds
0-5k ohms is the signal you need for that controller

Quote:
First: The solenoid isn't clicking because there is no B+ (Battery Voltage) going to the solenoid activation circuit. Connect the red wire going to the microswitch on the F/R assembly to the main positive terminal on the battery pack and the solenoid should start working when the pedal is pushed. Second: Throttle type mismatch with controller????????? Take a closer look at the controller. It has a half speed reverse terminal (Orange wire) and some cargo and people hauler carts with an ITS had a HD series controller instead of the standard Curtis 1206. Here is a schematic showing that type controller using an ITS. It is for a Shuttle-4, Shuttle-6 and a TE5, and it is for a 48v system, but if a 48V one exists, I'm pretty sure a 36V one does also. (I don't know what the Curtis model number is) Get the solenoid to click and see if it runs. BTW - You won't be able to measure any voltages on Blk/Wht wires until solenoid closes since same voltage the closes solenoid turns on controller. |

Re: 1996 ezgo pds
Did a little more looking.
It is a Curtis 1204 variant that works on 36V to 48V. http://fsip.workxpress.com/page/link...aca9ff42&wxm=1 |

Re: 1996 ezgo pds
Thank you also the marathon 1204 0-5k controller used the reverse micro on the f/r to cut the out put of the potentiometer in half for reverse.
