Default CC precedent controller faults

I have a 2012 CC Precedent and am having problems clearing a fault in the controller.
High Speed BreakAway fault.
Programmer shows no current faults
History shows the breakaway fault but when I go to Clear History it tells me History deleted but when I go back into history there it is never cleared. If there are any other faults in history it will clear them but not the breakaway fault.
I'm playing with a 2012 CC Precedent
Curtis Controller 1515-5201
Curtis Hand Held 1311-4404 programmer
Motor has been turned and has the upgraded magnet.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I may have the same problem. What are your symptoms ? I think my new 1515-5201 just went into limp mode from 16.5 MPH to 8 MPH.

Sounds like speed sensor. Bad speed sensor will put you in limp mode. Replace it. Check the magnet while you have the sensor off. Have at it. Hope this helps.

One day just for kicks I let my cart go down a hill in roll away braking. It did a great job holding the cart from going fast. After I hit my golf shot my cart went into limp mode. I thought I had really messed up. I put the cart in tow and checked all my cables, looking for what could have came loose. When I put it back in run everything worked fine. That was one of those oops. Don't do that again.
