We are all allowed our own opinion as far as having the reverse deeper on a golf cart. Crash happens to lean closer to the side of safety then some of us other people and that's ok with me... i sleep the same

I drive my cart in the city. It's street legal. I want to make all the noise I can in order to keep people from stepping out in front(or back) of me. Also in addition to the reverse buzzer I have a turn signal buzzer which warns people and also reminds me to turn them off.

i disconnected the buzzer on my 03 ds-iq also, works fine
i can see where a rental cart would need it to tell the new driver what direction it is in
but around my back acreage i'd rather have the silence
no one out here except for me and the coyotes, deer and birds
if the buzzer was set up to buzz for a second and turn off i might not have disconnected it
