Re: home made tops
I saw a top made from particleboard with white vinyl stretched over it in North Myrtle beach last weekend. Did not look bad ether.

Re: home made tops
When I bought my cart, the fiberglass top was all busted and cracked. Since I'm all about recycling, I used the bottom half of a roof top luggage container from Sears I had laying around.

I don't have any pix, but a couple of years ago, at a race a guy had a hood from a 70's camaro with a scoop mounted as a hood-it actually looked pretty good!

Re: home made tops
Hey Roxy, I'm working on an 88 Marathon now. I'm not far enough along to think of a top yet. I have seen them advertised but the cost is too high for me.
I would need the top and the supports. Do a search on vintage golf cart parts, I think the site where I saw them was called something like that. I too think a diamond plate top would look really cool. Can't wait for the pics to get posted. |

Re: home made tops
I have a 98 workhorse 1200 with a roll cage. I stretched canvas over the top. Keeps the rain off.
You welcome to my old supports and top if you think they will work. |
