My shifter for the Yamazuki is in the same place and doesn't hit my leg. It might if you were sitting on it like a toilet or maybe blessed to the point you couldn't keep your knees a little closer together??

I was going to say the same thing, but just let it go. Unless you exit through the front canopy supports, how could it possibly affect entry/exit?

Well with me being 6 foot 4 every little bit helps. I wasnt really thinking about the shifter box, but that handle. Its really wide and I think it would work alot better with a round handle.
