If you're going to do any kind'a sharp turns the welded spiders will kill that idea right away. Go with the posi unit!!!

Re: Posi kit vs. welded spiders....
trkbilder - well, that answers that question! One of the things I love is the sharp turns of my buggie! Just looking for some more oomph when I drop it down into some nice Alabama mud...

lizard i have basically the same set up as you and love my posi from plowmans. it will spin both wheels and is totally transparent-you feel nothing different when turning. easy install also.

Re: Posi kit vs. welded spiders....
Question - called Plowman's about their posi kit - website says it works up to 2006 and the gentleman I spoke with said "I'm a Yamaha guy, if it says that on the website, then that's it." Mine's an '08.
I thought the rear end on the EZGo TXT's was the same from 01.5-current... can anyone answer this for me? |

Re: Posi kit vs. welded spiders....
really don't know. don't have a parts catalogue for those years. do know that bu advertizes theirs for 89 to current models. if theirs fits, i don't know why plowmans wouldn't. might give them a call and see what they say. also did you speak to plowman himself? believe his name is don. he seems to know everything.
