Re: Stretching an EZGO RXV into a 6 Seater
I've been searching around on the site for information regarding anyone undertaking the stretching of a RXV. This link is the closest I've seen, however it seems to have died 2 years ago...
In an effort to resurrect a discussion...has anyone here successfully completed the stretching of an electric RXV? There are "kits" around on the web, however due to incredibly vague/ poor descriptions, and stock photo's , I have no trust in the sources.... therefore I am turning to the amazing knowledge-base of this forum... The bottom line here is that I have an electric 2010 RXV and think that it would be awesome (and a touch crazy) to extend it for another forward seat. |

Re: Stretching an EZGO RXV into a 6 Seater
I have used one of EZ-Gos TXT stretch kits and it contained everything needed to stretch it 28 inches. It uses a platform for the new front seat instead of the pod. Don't remember on the RXV. If you are going to do this you may need to look into the 350 amp controller package also.

I have the 350 amp upgrade....so this seemed the next logical step to continue to blow cash on this cart...

Re: Stretching an EZGO RXV into a 6 Seater
So I called EZGO and got the following information....
RXV STRETCH KIT Product Code: 750772PKG She couldn't give me pricing because of it being a dealer ordering item. So any of you guys have a cost and what comes in the box? Google search gave me about $3.2K (ouch) but not a list of what goodies are in the box... |

Cash & Carry, I sell those kits for $2,200.00 plus shipping. I'm pulling up a list of what is included.

Re: Stretching an EZGO RXV into a 6 Seater
Holy crap! Guess I'm busted on that one. Guess that's why I've only seen one. But it does exist, a OEM stretch kit, for a million dollars. It did work tho. LOL, I'm a mechanic, not a parts guy. Thanks FF Titus, for the time on the phone when dealer portal website had no easy answers (I can't remember its 4 letter acronym).
