I already disconnected that wire. I assuming need to hook the blue wire up to the large post on the switched side of the soleniod. So it only has power on when the soleniod is engaged. Is that correct? Also do you agree the switch is bad?

Yeah I it doesn't check out according to the ezgo check procedure. It appears that it's in forward and nuetral at the same time per the continuity check I ran. I posted the results of the check on the previous page. I'm gonna replace the key switch and see what that does.

I stalled the new switch and the was no change. Tried to move it and the tow switch doesn't seem to work. Followed the proceedure to bypass it and that worked for pushing around. I am at a loss.

Have you downloaded the T-shoot guide for your model? If not, do it, it has all your check procedures. Allow me to re-state, If you dont yet have the troubleshooting guide for your model of rxv, get it. Its on this website...

I know this is an old post, but I'm having the same issue, wondering what it was on yours. Thanks

Does it go like 1MPH and sound like the motor is grinding or dragging?

Does it have the older Dan Hauer controller (grey box, silver heat sink behind it)?

If so, a new motor encoder bearing is your solution. Fixed tons that arrive like this in the shop that it's down to a science. The Dan Hauer handheld will not report an error under this condition at all, it's the symptoms I've learned from.

So I've got 2 rxvs. One doesn't do anything, the other was working good until the other day it started doing what was mentioned above, so I took the encoder bearing out of the cart that does nothing, and put it in the cart that crawls, And now the cart that crawls won't do anything. Could the bearing encoder be bad in both carts and that's why the one wouldn't do anything at all?
