Default 2000 EZ Go lurching then stopped

Hi I have a 2000 36V Shuttle 2+2. Over the past couple of months it began to hesitate just a second when you pressed the peddle then would lurch forward and run fine. Last week it just all of a sudden died, nothing. Here is what I know:

Pack Voltage 37.6
Voltage at the solenoid and across the solenoid, with resistor removed, when peddle is pressed.
Solenoid clicks when peddle is pressed.
Voltage to the controller, but not out of the controller (M-b+) when the peddle is pressed.

any suggestions?

Hal

Hi Hal, Welcome to BGW.
It might be trouble in the pedal box... Which drive system are you asking about?

Thanks for the reply Scotty.

Mine appears to be a PDS Series. My controller is the one on the bottom of the schematic.

Does it still have the reverse buzzer? If so look up on here how to put it into diagnostic mode and listen to the beeps . If not I would check the F&R switch for continuity and power. I had a similar issue on time on a PDS cart and it turned out to be the F&R switch. If all of that test correctly than I would say the controller is gone.

The way I check them is to see if the hot wire has Pack voltage, check the switch for continuity, if all that checks out check continuity on all three of the wires from the F&R back to the 10 prone molex pulg at the controller.
