Hand held programmer 2012 onwards RXV

Hi,

I am on the search for a hand held to suit the 1206AC5211 curtis unit I have now installed in my RXV.

I have given up trying to locate,buy or borrow one here in the UK.

If anyone knows the correct hand held I need (I am guessing the latest Curtis unit)? for sale etc I would be grateful.

Get the 1313-4401 model it gives you the highest level (oem).

1313-4401 OEM programmer
1313-3301 Dealer programmer
1313-2201 Service programmer
1313-1101 User programmer

New runs around $500.00 but you can rent one. Here in the US it's rents for $40 a month.

You still will need an Curtis adapter cable also. A new adapter goes for $100+. I have made up a few of these for my own use with the help from BobBoyce. I can probably sale you one if needed.

usgicollector gave you sources for a handheld. Also consider a laptop or PC based programmer. You can do it for less. A USB interface can be built for well under $50 and the software can be downloaded. I know you know the thread, but here it is for others.

Thanks folks for the advice.I have gone the programmer route as I am too old and stupid to start learning to be a computer whiz. Thanks to all, yet again.
