2 very helpful products, both are readily available 3M "2 part"...

I used the "rigid" #5885 to plug the holes from removing the "spike guards" and a couple of switches from the body. After beveling both inside and outside surfaces of each hole, covered outside with masking tape and filled from the inside. 8 mins. of work time, ready to sand in 30 mins... worked great!

I used the "EZ Sand" # 5887 to fill the 1.2 gazillion dings, divots and scratches all over the body. worked in small batches, again 8 mins of work time, 30 more and your ready to sand.
Well, Tex, looks like I get to take from your build, as this is on my list!

Anthony,

There were a Craigslist find... were ordered for an ATV, but the golf cart backspace (2/5) caused clearance issues....

Got them for $150 !! (with center caps and lug nuts)

They are "ITP SS 108" ( 12" tires) frequently see them on Amazon and Ebay SS 104 is the same thing, just an older number

Thanks for the feedback !

Its been a while since my last update, sometimes it seems reality gets I the way...oh well....

It has been a couple of weeks of wiring and "configuration".

Scotty's 485 Kit is installed and wired, also have finished the 48v/12v converter and accessory wiring. The LED head/tail/turn/brake light harness is all routed and ready.
All the dash accessory wiring and a few "extra circuits" are in, along with the Scotty DVM. a 12v power outlet/USB, and horn are all in and functional.

The body is back from paint, and all I can say is HELL YEAH !! All those hours of filling, priming and blocking paid off !!!

I am still waiting on the seat covers, so this week will be body mounting, battery pack install (6x8V T-875's) and finishing the floorboard.

If I have any down time, it seems I have become the "golf cart guy" in my little corner of the world. I now have a 96 CC DS 48V series and a 2001 CC DS Gas as future projects. So if you see a tall, bald guy wandering around in those forums, it me !
When I get a chance to check them out, I'll make a post in the appropriate forum. The story on the 96 CC 48v is priceless, only could happen in Texas !!!
