Anyone close to FL panhandle that wants to stretch a frame?
Three local shops have turned me down...have access to a donor frame but have no welding ability whatsoever. Will be more than happy to compensate for the help.....

I don't know what is involved but any way you could extend the frame by bolting frame extensions in using common angle iron and channnel? If you could do this then perhaps you might be able to get someone to weld the joints for extra assurance.

Re: Anyone close to FL panhandle that wants to stretch a frame?
I may be lazy but I just bought the kit from ezgo. Think it was like $1800 but had everything I needed. Lots of parts are involved. Cables, wire harness, floor pan and mat, front seat and pod, side sills, stretch insert and all hardware.

We got PCB about 6 times a yr. But don't live down there (yet). Wish I could help you out, that way I would now how to stretch out my next cart.

Yep, this ezgo kit is the best way for folks who want a "no-weld" solution. I have done them on Rxv & txt, and it's a nice kit. I would weld my own, but shop just bought a kit.

Re: Anyone close to FL panhandle that wants to stretch a frame?
Only thing that scares me is that I'm a bigger guy. Would much rather weld and maybe add a couple extra bracing just to be on the safe side

Re: Anyone close to FL panhandle that wants to stretch a frame?
OK, this is for your 36v series txt? That stretch kit is intended to be used on PDS carts (that don't have a handle to extend to the "new" front seat). They can be modified to work if you convert your series cart to switching contactors like ScottyB sells. Gotta find the number again.
