Default backup buzzer where?

Make TXT
ELECTRIC 36V
MODEL TXT STANDARD (DCS)
YEAR 1999
It is not working. were is it located on the cart? I would like it to work.
New to carts this is my first one.

On my '07 TXT the buzzer is inside the dash. You have to take the dash switch plate out to get to it. Mine is on the right side of the well.

Not sure if it will help with your 99, but here's a picture of where it was on my 2001 txt Series.

You can see it best in the second picture. It's on the right hand side, attached to the f/r switch. It's the black thing with the clear plastic tape over the top of it.

In a 1999 DCS it is located on the F/R switch assembly. Black circular object in lower right of picture.

They seldom go bad, so it is probably just unplugged.

Added second picture showing F/R as installed in DCS cart.

I just wrapped elect tape over mine, cut the sound down about 50%

Www.backuptunes.com. They can make it anything you want. But generally we just stick the stick-on fuzzy velcro over the hole, works good & lasts long time.
