2010 txt need more speed
Had the dealer 'flash' the controller for $100...still not fast. Looking for a solution. This cart does not use the plug-in speed adapter like some of the older carts...any suggestions without changing motors and controllers? SORRY DUPLICATE POST

Re: 2010 txt need more speed
I dont think thats possible, controller and solenoid minimum, then you could up the voltage if you have a 36v cart to 42v but need a new charger or you could then get a new motor.
You could also get your current motor "re-spun" (still requires you to remove your current motor) via a company such as Plum Quick however there seems to be mixed reviews on this but that is not as expensive as a new motor but will get more speed. Speed= Money any way you put it |

Re: 2010 txt need more speed
Which 2010 txt do you have ? A 48 volt txt ? Freedom mode will get you to 19.5 mph on stock tires.

Re: 2010 txt need more speed
Yes...it's 48v but it came from a golf course and is fleet model so it may not be able to give the 19mph speed even in freedom mode...I think Scotty's solution make sense. Cart belongs to a neighbor...

Re: 2010 txt need more speed
Who told you that a fleet 48v txt Tct could not be programmed to 19mph? They both have the same controller & motor. Just have to unlock freedom mode, then use handheld to set speed to max. Freedom passkey does not actually set speed to fastest allowable, just enables speed to be set to fastest allowable with handheld.

Re: 2010 txt need more speed
So the dealer came out with a pre-programmed flash key...charged $100 and said that was the max speed this cart can do...about 14mph....
