The very easiest wiring option is to wire your LEDs through a switch. Then when you activate the switch the LEDs come on. A simple single pole switch will work. You would wire the negative lead from the LEDs to the negative 12 volt lead from the converter. The LED posive lead will wire to one contact of the switch. The other switch contact will wire back to a fuse block connected to the positive lead from the converter. For a visual, check YouTube.
