Default EGO battery box

I have an 02 but was interested I buying this battery box. Is it compatible with the older carts that came with the rusty battery boxes?

Nope, that's for putting 4x 12v batteries in a Rxv only.

That's a 4 X 12V battery tray for an RXV, won't do you much good.

I have rebuilt several Ezgo TXT battery boxes using a 6 ' piece of 1 1/2" angle iron from Lowes. I cut three pieces 22" (I think) and had them welded to form the cross pieces (sideways) across the battery compartment. First time, I had a welding shop do it, cost about $100. Next time I bought a Harbor Freight welder and tacked it in myself. Painted it black, well pleased.
