Default Front end suspension concern

Hello. Newbie here. Know nothing about golf carts but I bought a business that has one (golf cart is stock) and I think it's in need of some front end maintenance. I searched this forum but didn't really find what I need. My front wheels (rims, not tires) on the inside are starting to rub on something - bushings or axle or steering parts. I'm a decent weekend mechanic for autos, but not sure what I'm looking at. My question, what would be a typical preventative maintenance on front end suspension, shocks, steering, etc on a EZGO? It's probably 12 years old. Thank you!

Sounds like you are beyond preventative maintenance, and have now entered into corrective.

Can you post some pics?

Do the wheels look like this / \ if so it might be worn out shocks and/or hub bearings.

Thanks. I think it's bearings... maybe shocks, too. I'm going to replace all, there isn't that many parts so I'm sure it'll fix it.

If it is a club car DS, look real close at the front rubber leaf spring bushings. When they fail ( rot away, crumble etc), the the leaf spring DROPS and rubs on the the inside of the rime.

Look to see if , on the inside of the rim, there is a round scratch line where the inside of the rim is rubbing on the edge of the leaf spring.

I see this alot when the old bushings are done.
