No you cannot use the Mddjax otf controller.
RXV 's hav AC not DC motors.
The only practical upgrade path is the upgraded
Factory controller.
(Note I did say PRACTICAL)

You mean the 350 amp controller for $1500 is the only way I will be able to crawl through a ditch. Great.

Bit the bullet and had the 350 amp controller installed. It has exceeded my expectations, but this afternoon it "died" going up a steep hill. I was able to roll it back down as the brake was not locked. When I got it close to the bottom it began to beep 1-1-1. Then it would go in reverse, and shortly there after worked in forward. Drove it up the hill and around for a while with no other problems. Any ideas?

That's what my dealer said. I guess that's good enough. Thanks!

It has been worth the money!

I had the curtis 350 controller installed on my 2016 RXV in hopes of more speed going uphill with no results. My hill 6/10 mile long and I barely get up. Could my controller be programmed wrong?

I have wanted to build a RXV AC cart for years. I have not done it yet because of the torque issues. I can slowly bump my 03 DS 48volt Club Car over a 6" log/tree on the ground. You can not do this with an RXV as far as I know of.

I don't know why E-Z-GO did it, but they had Curtis set every parameter in the default programming in the 350 Amp upgrade controller to be identical to the OEM stock 235 Amp controller. You'll need to have the configurations changed in order to make use of the additional capacity. Also, while you're at it, you may want to upgrade all of the high current cables to 2 guage. The 4 guage upgrade cables that come with the upgrade controller kit are not quite large enough. The RXV AC drive system has to power all 3 motor phases from a single DC supply.
